Volunteer Program
Role as a Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role within a hospice care team, working closely with the Nursing Staff, Social Workers, Chaplains and patients.
- Patients, caregivers and family members are often more open when speaking with volunteers. Volunteers serving patients in this capacity provide invaluable insight - helping to provide better, quality care.
- Volunteers assisting in non-patient care areas, such as baking, crafting or office support, are equally important parts of a hospice care team. It is the little things that volunteers are able to do that make the biggest impact.
